Haiku is a flash of enlightenment or a spart of experience in the realm of perception. I also described it as a pebble thrown in the pond that stirs expanding ripples. Tragedy is that world is so much afflicted by corporate anorexia that appreciating moments of quietitude or inner peace or ecastasy has become rare.
The author is management expert, artist and poet. He has been CEO, Airport Authority of India; National Shipping Board; and Teacher-Chairman of Management Development Institute; FORE School of Management; and presently heads Rajarshi School of Management, Varanasi. He served UNDP as Adviser in New York. He has traveled widely to various countries. He now lives in a forest in Himachal Pradesh, India.
