Indian History has to be rewritten according to the latest linguistic and archaeological discoveries, if Indian children are to understand-who they are and where they come from. The history of India's beginnings were written by European colonizers, with and intention to downsize, downgrade and postdate Indian civilization. But that unfortunately, generation after generation of Indian historians, for their own selfish purpose, endorsed and perpetuated these wrong theories, such as the Aryan invasion, which divided India like nothing else, pitting South against North, Aryan against Dravidian, Untouchables against Brahmins.

Francois Gautier François Gautier (francoisgautier.com) served as the South Asia political correspondent for Le Figaro, France’s largest daily newspaper, for ten years. He is currently the editor-in-chief of La Revue de l'Inde, a Paris-based journal published by Les Editions de l’Harmattan (Harmattan.fr). Over his career, he has interviewed eight Prime Ministers of India and authored 31 books in both English and French. Together with his wife, Namrita, Francois is building the Museum of True Indian History in Pune (factmuseum.com), which today houses 23 pavilions and numerous exhibitions, ranging from the Vedas to Dara Shikoh, and from Shivaji Maharaj to Maharana Pratap. François, who divides his time between Delhi, Pune, and Auroville, has been married to Namrita for 35 years.
