Communication practices, modes and Strategies are changing per demands of technologies and Corona Virus 2020. These have created communication challenges. We need communication competence to deal with them. All these have bearings on further updated development of communication theories & practices impacted by Corona Virus. The revolutionary role of unique technologies facilitate us in managing communication challenges of Corona Virus. As the global health community works toward a rapid, sustainable, and equitable recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, technology is playing a greater role than ever before. From telehealth to data-driven performance management, digital technologies are transforming the way as diverse as governances’ policy makers, NGOs, pharmaceutical companies, scientists and community health care workers collaborate with the doctors to deliver care where it is needed most. The present study focusses on both these issues.

Uma Narula Uma Narula is Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst USA. M.A Psychology – Clinical psychology specialization. Dr. Narula is Director/Communication Consultant (Research and Training) U+ communications, New Delhi, India. Uma Narula has been in ‘Communication Practice’ research both in rural and urban areas in India, global contexts and in contexts of multiple cultures which has given her valuable insights into significant role of ‘Communication Practices’ in changing and developing Communication Theories. Dr. Narula consultant, professional activities focus on four areas: Research, Training, Teaching, Professional writing/editing, and Therapeutic counseling. She has published 27 books from Communication Perspectives – Academic and textbooks and numerous research papers. She regularly conducts social and development research on local, national and international issues, planning for research projects in social sciences, expertise in Development Communication. Consultant: Project Planning and Research, Communication Training, Teaching and Publishing in her expertise area. She operates between Boston-New Delhi.
