God vs Gun by Indu Seth
God vs Gun by Indu Seth
God vs Gun by Indu Seth is a powerful Indian fiction novel set in Kashmir, exploring radicalisation, family conflict, and resilience.
“In the shadow of violence, love becomes the hardest battle.”
In the tranquil valleys of Kashmir, peace is a fragile whisper.
For Hamza’s family, that calm breaks when their eldest son, Humayun, is drawn into radicalism, tearing apart the fabric of their once-loving home. In a desperate attempt to save him, they marry him to the gentle-hearted Sania. The union drives him further into rage and exile, transforming him into a feared terrorist. As life begins to regain balance, Humayun returns with a deadly mission to destroy the harmony he once abandoned. Parents wrestle with despair, daughters defy tradition, and a young wife discovers the strength to reclaim her destiny. God vs Gun is a haunting story of violence, loss, and endurance that reveals how terror can rip through homes, yet how unyielding strength, especially the courage of women, can carve a path back to hope.

Author/Editor
Indu Seth
Indu Seth writes of human struggle, love, and resilience in times of turmoil. Her novels Emotional Hostage, Love, Laws & Outlaws, and Daughters & Destinies explore fractured relationships, questions of justice, and the quiet courage of women in challenging circumstances. Although she often insists, she is not a writer, Indu admits she finds inspiration in everyday experiences and in the enduring strength of the human spirit, and she feels compelled to capture these stories on the page. God v/s Gun marks her forth book, a powerful exploration of families caught in the crossfire of violence and faith.
A Delhi-based entrepreneur and author, she began her creative journey after studying design, marketing, and retailing in London and running a successful garment manufacturing business. She has also served as a panel member of the Central Board of Film Certification.
