Author
Achala Moulik Achala Moulik had her education in Washington, New York, Rome and London and graduated from London University where she studied Economics, Political Thought, World History, International Law, International Relations. Soon after she passed the civil service exams and joined the Indian Administrative Service where she served in various capacities, notably as Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India and Education Secretary to the Government of India when the Education for All Program was formulated and implemented. She has a parallel career as an acclaimed writer on political and cultural history, international relations, and three best selling novels. She was awarded the prestigious Pushkin Medal and the Yesenin Prize for her books on Russian history and culture.
